It is very common to see calcium deficiencies in fine turfs, especially over sandy root zones. This is vital to correct as calcium is essential in supporting a wide range of nutrients being absorbed by the plant, as well as other functions, such as supporting cell wall strength. Gypsum Fine will help to break down and loosen dense soil structures which can arise from compaction. This is especially evident in heavy clay and sandy soils. Gypsum does this by encouraging flocculation; which is the formation of larger, stable aggregates. This process enables soils to regain former vitality as soil aeration and water movement is improved. Why use Gypsum Fine?
