Global Medics Energy Boost wordt aangeraden: Bij nood aan extra energie bij het leveren van een fysieke inspanning Ter ondersteuning van de spierfunctie Ter ondersteuning/verbetering van de sportprestaties: voor sportpaarden in topconditie tijdens periodes van intense inspanningen De verschillende B vitamines (B1-thiamine, B2-riboflavine, B3-nicotinamide, B6-pyridoxine en B12-cyanocobalamine) in dit voedingssupplement dragen bij tot het energiemetabolisme. Een gebrek aan slechts één van deze vitamines kan een hele reeks biochemische reacties in gevaar brengen die nodig zijn om voeding om te zetten in fysiologische energie. En hoewel gezonde paarden normaal gezien zelf in hun eigen B-vitamine behoefte kunnen voorzien dankzij een gezonde darmflora, zijn er verschillende indicaties dat paarden die stress ondervinden (bijvoorbeeld tijdens transport naar de wedstrijd) hiervan toch negatieve effecten op de darmflora kunnen ondervinden. Global Medics Energy Boost bevat daarnaast ook Siberische ginseng of ook wel Eleuthero genoemd (Eleutherococcus senticosus), een kruid dat onder andere glycosidale saponinen (ginsenosides), essentiële oliën en phytosterolen bevat die zullen bijdragen tot het verminderen van oxidatieve stress bij een fysieke inspanning, en de natuurlijke weerstand zullen helpen versterken. Global Medics Energy Boost bevat ook verschillende aminozuren, zoals glutamine, tyrosine, arginine, beta-alanine etc… Zo kan suppletie met beta-alanine het spier carnosine gehalte verhogen, wat (spier)vermoeidheid uitstelt door het verhogen van de buffercapaciteit van de spier. Tot slot bevat dit product ook het elektrolyt natriumchloride en glycerine (een hoogenergetische grondstof met zoete smaak).
